A Grade II* listed theatre and conference venue designed by Architects Bryan and Norman Westwood and built in 1963. It re-opened in 2019 after a two year refurbishment project.

The Congress is the largest theatre on the South Coast and is host to touring West End musicals and plays, ballet, opera and live music across all genres.
